I made these as I came to realize that you can game pretty much in any era out there as long as you want to play in Europe. My play group needed something other than the same European village to drive over for our 15mm Cold War games, so I said…Red Dawn was a thing, lets do rural 80’s US. I grew up there so it was as simple as digging up memories to put them on the table top. Models are designed in 15mm, so scaling up or down hasn’t been tested.
This is a large building. Intented to be a county courthouse or school building, it has multiple floors and optional rotunda for the top. Rotunda comes solid premade, or you can put an insert on it. Load the insert into a free program like Tinkercad and than you can fuse your own flavor of statue on top. Building doesn’t have a “front” or “back” but can be used either way, allowing you to have a couple display options on usage. I’ve included a name plate to mount on the front. There is a blank one if you wan to put your own town name, or there is already a “Calumet” one if you want to keep it based in the movie town. Name plate can be loaded into Tinkercad and have text added there before printing.
Model was printed on an Ender 3 with PLA+. I printed with a brim in place to assure the size would fit. Sorry, this will not work on something like a Mars 2 or smaller Anycubic machine without being split up.
