A complete fortification set in 15 mm / 1:100 scale.
Designed around a 40 mm hex side, the 3-d printable parts tessellate to fort of any size or shape (or fortified town when combined with other hex sets like Saxon village or Norman village). Good for DBA and other medieval wargames.
The hex form is a good compromise between a square form and an organic shape. Medieval cities were built with straight lines of palisade walls but the overall built-up-area was often sprawling and organic in shape. The hex-form effectively simulates this combination.
The four parts are: palisade gate, convex palisade, concave palisade, open hex.
