Fielding an Italian Army in Bolt Action is nothing if not challenging. This is for multiple reasons; some based on historical fact and others coming from popular misconceptions. The new “Case Blue” Campaign book provides some long overdue hope for Team Italy. A significant part of this boost for the Italians is the addition of the Cannone da 75/32 Modello 37 to the Italian artillery list. The 75/32 was a split trail, 75mm field gun first designed in 1937, but not coming into service until 1941.
The gun was considered a field gun, but was also a potent anti-tank gun, using a highly effective HEAT round.
The gun saw wide ranging service with the Italians, and post-1943 armistice, also with the Germans who titled it as 7.5 cm FeldKanone 248(i).
In the New Case Blue book, the 75/32 is considered as a medium anti-tank gun also capable as doing double duty as a light howitzer (2” HE, capable of indirect fire). This is identical to the versatile Soviet Zis 3 field gun. Coupled with its gun shield and the Italian defensive positions (available when laying defender or in all scenarios when using the popular Juggernaut pack for list building) the 75/32 will provide a solid backstop for Italian players.
This .stl pack includes files for both resin and FDM printing. The FDM parts are specifically designed to be robust enough to allow successful printing. The resin gun cradle has more detail but both prints work well for gaming purposes. The resin pack has three .stls; the FDM has six .stls (please see photo). The resin files include pre-supported files as well. Lastly, an optional base is offered to mount your gun. The base has 4 x 27 mm recesses for the gun crew figures, (assuming they are on 25mm bases).

The figures crewing the guns are from Iron Chicken’s .stls, also available at Wargaming 3d
