I like to help the group of people I game with enjoy the visual side of gaming. This means being happy to have a go at creating unique models which are not commercially available. I had been requested to create a Cavalry MMG limber but as I was researching useful images I saw this single horse limber and my favourite tiny AT gun so of course I became distracted.
Given the detailed and small scale nature of this model I planned it from the outset to be primarily printed in resin. I suspect the limber can be printed in plastic at 0.1mm layer height or if your printer will achieve it, 0.06mm.
This limber model is a new, several test models printed but not as yet tested by sales on Ebay and feed back from buyers. The design work for the limber was done at a 1/56 scale.
The French Hotchkiss SA34 25mm AT I designed over a year ago and it has been on sale ever since on Ebay as a printed models. Initially in plastic but more generally now in resin. As this model was original designed at 1/28 scale it his highly detailed and I have had to harden some of the parts for printing at the 1/56 scale.
This listing will provide the following 1/56 scaled files Resin printing, files are duplicated with pre-supported versions.
- Main Limber.
- Limber wheel Version 01
- Limber wheel Version o2
- Limber Horse.
- SA34 in Towed Carriage configured trails closed. You will need possibly to drill the towing eye out a little.
- SA34 in Deployed Carriage trails open to brace for recoil…. on a 25mm round?
- SA34 gun with main shield
These models were designed by Neal Bowskill Copyright June 2022 for the Limber related files. SA34 25mm related files April 2021, no printing for commercial gain permitted.
