EDIT: The designer contacted me within hours of posting this review and fixed the void AND separated the gun from the hull. Some further experimentation with the tracks leads me to believe that the act of removing them from the supports can subtly distort their shape if you try to ugga-dugga it. So all of my objections are resolved, and I can well and truly recommend these files unreservedly.
ORIGINAL: The models themselves are beautiful. I’ve run into a few issues, however. I have not, on two different printers (Photon Mono 4K and Elegoo Saturn 8K using a 50/50 mix of Sunlu ABS-like and Sunlu Toughness) been able to get the separately printed tracks to properly fit the hulls; the idler wheel shaft is past the rear of the hull. Why this is is a complete mystery to me, since the tracks are identical in size to the ones on the hull with tracks already added, and which fit fine.
Additionally, the zimmerit StuG IV (which is the one you’ll be wanting if you’re doing the 17th SS StuGs the 101st Airborne fought at Carentan) has the 75mm gun attached to the hull in all versions; not only does this greatly extend print time in the presupported orientation, there is more seriously, a large void inside of it. This should be a pretty easy fix for the designer, but I was unable to separate the part with my very limited Blender knowledge.
That said, if you’re not looking for a zimmerit-bedaubed Stug IV and don’t mind supporting the hull with tracks added yourself, this is easily four stars, and in my case, if the void between the gun mantlet and hull is fixed (or the gun is removed, like with the other two StuG IVs in the package) it will easily become a five-star set of files.
