The M3A1 Stuart was the developmental successor to the M3 Stuart. This variant possessed a newly designed turret, the addition of a turret basket and a gyro stabilized main gun. The hull sponson machine guns were removed to provide more space for the crew. 4621 were manufactured and delivered through February 1943. While deemed obsolete as a light tank by 1943, it served in the mounted reconnaissance role throughout the rest of the war.
This model is a 1:56 scale faithful recreation of the M3A1 Stuart Light Tank. This model includes open and closed hatch turret options and a commander figure. Also included is a printing and assembly tips pamphlet for this model.
