The M3 Stuart also known as the “Honey” to the troops that rode it, was a light tank utilized by British forces in North Africa. A large portion of the 5811 M3 Stuarts produced were supplied to the United Kingdom and the Soviet Union under the Lend Lease Act. The M3 was liked by its crews for its speed, sturdiness and reliability. It developed its moniker of “Honey” because of its smooth ride.
