22-rb crane easy print

Easy to print 22-rb crane. Some details have been changed for looks/ printability.

Crane used for allied logistics in ww2 (If our research was correct), and a good general purpose example of its type. There was a round top and square top version, and I went with the square top as it was present in the war, and looks more appropriate for post-war tabletops.

While easy to print, assembly is not easy on this one, so be patient and double check where everything fits, use the resin files for reference.

The crane arm support needs top be cut to length once you pick the arm angle.

If you want to cab to rotate on the trucks, print the “pivot adapter” (works resin or filament) and glue it into the trucks, otherwise the cab can be glued directly to the trucks, or printed whole.

I have little idea of the mechanics of cranes so I didn’t event attempt to rig it, I’ll leave that to you smart folks.

The standard files are designed to print AS-IS on filament, no additional supports required.

The “resin” files are for those of you that are printing with resin printers and would prefer the assembled models. Resin files are not pre-supported unless otherwise noted.

Please remember that unless otherwise noted these models are uploaded at 1/100, and you need to scale it to match your preferred play-scale.

1/52 = 192% (my preferred scale for 28mm heroic)
