1:2000 Japanese Passenger Ship CHOAN MARU (1934)

The CHOAN MARU is a Japanese passenger ship built in 1934, for Chosen Kisen K.K. (朝鮮汽船, means “Korean Steamships” in Japanese) by Mitsubishi Jukogyo (Mitsubishi Heavy Industry).

In 1941, the ownership changed to Nishinnihon Kisen, and later in August, the ship was requisitioned by the IJN, registered as small auxiliary minelayer in Sasebo.

I make this model for my 1:2000 world, as transportation is heavily needed. The CHOAN MARU have 2 sister ships.
