The M4 Sherman is the most produced American tank during WWII. Approximately 50,000 units of all versions were produced between 1942 and 1945.
It has a crew of 5 men.
It is armed with a 75mm cannon, 2 Browning 7.62 machine guns and sometimes an M2 machine gun on the turret.
The Firefly version is a British modification that replaces the 75mm gun with a 17pd gun. The hull machinegun was removed to make room for the larger shells of the new gun.
Approximately 2200 conversions were made.
Attention, for those who bought the M4, the M4A4 hull is longer and the gap between the suspension elements is larger than M4 hull so the tracks are not interchangeable.
