Gaz 67 Soviet

$4.00

In WW2 the Western Allies supplied the Soviet Union with upwards to 400,000 motor vehicles, including almost 78,000 ¼ ton “Jeep” vehicles. When viewing the Soviet Gaz “jeep”, it would be easy to think this was a case of imitation being the greatest from of flattery, but in fact the Soviets realized the value of a lightweight four-wheel drive runabout during their initial invasion of Finland in 1939- 1940. The Gaz 64 entered production in March 1941, before the Axis launched Operation Barbarossa. With field experience, improvements were made, and the Gaz 67 was developed. Production started in September 1943, followed by the improved Gaz 67B, whose construction continued into the post war period.

In Bolt Action, the Gaz 67 has the same stats as the Western Jeep – acting as a tow for a light gun, or a transport for a three-man team. Alternately, like the jeep, it can be equipped with a pintle mounted MMG and provide some mobile harassment of your tabletop foe.

This .stl pack includes .stl packs specifically for FDM and for resin printing. The resin pack includes a driver figure. The FDM does not, but the driver’s spot fits the standard after-market driver figures – in the photo the FDM model has the Warlord Games Soviet driver, (with some surgery on his feet). Both resin and FDM packs include a pintle mounted Maxim MMG, specific to the printing medium.
