Heinkel H95D Seaplane

A twin-engined German biplane designed in the 1930, it was used in WW2 in different roles. Torpedo- and mine-laying aircraft in the first months of the war. And up to 1942 as Reconnaissance-, transport, air-sea rescue and training aircraft.
The Heinkel was also used during the invasion of the Netherlands to land troops in Rotterdam to capture the bridges. I created this model for this reason, it will be used in our NL 1940 war-gaming scenarios.
The model is 1/100 scale and resin-print only. Although I did test-print the central fuselage and tail section in PLA on a Creality Ender 5 and that looked fine in 0.20mm layer. But all the other parts are Resin-print only. Test-printed on an Anycubic Mono SE (0.05mm layer)
When building the model there are a few things to keep in mind. Also see the pictures for reference.
When gluing the top-wing using the small connection part, make sure you align the notches. The top-wing needs to glued with a small angle and also when attaching the bottom wings, make sure you use the same small angle.The engines and wing-supports need to be glued vertical. Left and right engine are the same, so there you cannot make a mistake. The outside supports are the same, however those need to be glued in the correct orientation, bottom front is a bit shorter. There are 3 small notches you can use to align the front fuselage and the tail section when gluing it together.
Final thing, the small support in the engine you need to place as the very last parts. See example picture. Best to put a small drop of glue on the top, then slide the rear in the engine part. The hole in the engine is deep enough, then move it up again and glue it to the top-wing. Finally put a small drop of superglue at the bottom of the support and the engine.
In 1/100 the model has wingspan of almost 24 cm and is 17.4 cm long.

Starting 2023 WW2 ships in 1/1000 up to 1/1800 will be added. This will be focussed on the Pacific War / Dutch East Indies. Resin print only, highly detailed and as historical correct as possible. I might tweak a bit to make sure parts will print and are strong enough for the gaming table. This will include a full range of ships of the Royal Netherlands Navy.
And slowly adding other models which are not found anywhere else.
