Here is my first rendition in a series of Ural 4320 variants based on the widely used 6×6 Soviet truck. The Broom features a section of BRDM-2 chassis crammed into the bed of an up-armored Ural complete with the 14.5 mm KPVT heavy MG and a coaxial 7.62 mm PKT… but wait, there’s more !!! Not only do you get both of those nifty toys but to make things even better the Broom includes a UB-32-57 on top for when you need to reach out and touch someone… a lot.
Update: 4-17-23: I have replaced the chassis with version 2 of the chassis with more detail and corrected a problem where there was a gap between the front of the doors and the fenders that made the model not manifold. I was also able to finally get the proper tires on the truck. There are also pictures of a printed one, only thing you might want to to do is bump up the exposure times to help prevent warping on the thinner parts, otherwise it printed just fine.
Printing Destructions:
I have not broken these models up at all and they should easily fit onto most any resin print bed. If I get a chance I will start working on including some pre-supported models as well since I fully plan to print these out for myself also.
Aside from that, on printers like Elegoo Mars and Anycubic Photon, if you rotate the model 60 degrees with the back end down, just add your supports and print away.
For resin I prefer to use Siraya Tech Simple Clear mixed with Tenacious. I use 75-80 Simple to 20-25% Tenacious. This has not given me any problems since I started this mix and the only time I get failures now is when I am experimenting with things or forget to do my supports right.
