Pintle Maxim MMG

Warlord Games Bolt Action's Soviet Army allows players to purchase a pintle mount MMG for their transports. There is no specific model specified but the most common MMG in Soviet use was the Maxim. I created this .stl (both for FDM and resin) to allow players to have a drop in MMG, remove when not required, so it requires no modification to the vehicle.

FDM printing

• print with supports everywhere, at fine - 0.1 mm layers - and I suggest using a brim.


• There is a 1.2mm recess on the pintle mount and underside of the MMG so allow a small piece of wire to connect the two. This can is optional and can be skipped- which is what i did, and I just glued the gun to the pintle mount.

Resin printing

the test print shown was printed at .05mm with elegoo standard grey.
