I’ve been playing wargames with miniatures or collecting toy soldiers for more than 40 years now. For the last 10 years, I have been an official dealer for several toys soldiers makers selling them through the internet or at show in Belgium, France and UK. What became my favorite part of this activity was to create and sell terrains/sceneries that would enhance the toy soldiers display (some pictures of these can be found on my facebook page). What was the best part of my activity became also the most frustrating : it was interesting and challenging to design new pieces, a bit less to reproduce them several times. On top of this frustration was the lack of time I had to produce sufficiently to respond my customers requests. It’s quite naturally that I thought 3D printing would solve this dilemma : allow me to design new pieces and let the wargamers /diorama builders print exactly what they need.

While the ships are designed at 1/1800 scale, printing at 75% for 1/2400 scale is possible with a quality printer. Feel free to reach out to me to request a test print of a specific model at 1/2400 scale. Printing larger is also possible with no drawbacks except that the lack of detail will become more apparent.

A small but growing collection of naval miniatures in 1/600, mostly featuring coastal forces subjects from WW1 and WW2, so ideal for use with rules such as Narrow Seas, Action Stations and, if resized to 1/300, Cruel Seas. Kaja's Models and Machinations

Kaja's Models and Machinations specialises in models of experimental Soviet heavy tanks produced from 1939-1957, in multiple scales from 1:285 to 1:144.  The files for all 1:144 scale models may be re-scaled by a factor of 0,9 for N-gauge (1:160) model railroads.  A high-detail model of the KV-1 suitable for 1:100 (15mm) is also available and others may be available on request.  Other models include ancient war galleys, tall ships from the Golden Age of Sail, and even steamships from World War I. I am a wargamer and a primary school teacher in NSW, Australia, however I have a dark past. At one point, in the dim distant tides of yesteryear, I was trained as an engineer. Although I never actually worked as an engineer - I was sucked into the world of software development, and then later retrained as a teacher - when I bought myself a 3d printer late in 2018 it turned out that those CAD skills weren't completely gone from my brain. I have been working almost exclusively on 1:300 scale coastal ships from WWII for the Cruel Seas wargame. I honestly make them pretty much for myself and my local gaming group, but I see no reason not to share them with anyone who can find a use for them.
