Playable Prints Limited is Closing ... WG3D will live on!

2026-05-31 Update

I'm pleased to announce that Ed Dowgiallo of Miniatures Store LLC is picking up ownership of WG3D! Expect to see more updates in the coming days as we hand things over.

2026-05-28 Update

After an incredible outpouring of support from the community for the service we've provided for Wargaming3D, we've managed to come to a provisional agreement regarding the future of WG3D.

The detail first:

• The timeline for purchases from Playable Prints Limited remains the same.
• The new owners will reopen for business provisionally on 2026-07-01.
• The timeline for minihoarder.com remains the same.

The details for Minihoarder customers and creators will be shared in due course.

WG3D will stay up and open for customer downloads and creator uploads, we intend to maintain continuity here. The only part stopping temporarily is the purchasing of files, which is provisionally scheduled to return 2026-07-01.

On a personal note: we want to say that we're both really flattered and humbled by the messages we've received. We've worked hard to provide a stable and respectfully quiet service, but the consquence of that is we don't get much spontaneous feedback. To read some of the messages has been really wonderful, so thank you so much to everyone who wrote some nice words and shared it with us.

We hope that next chapter builds on the legacy of WG3D and we ask that you bear with us in the transition.

2026-05-21 Introduction

We've decided to close Playable Prints Limited and wind down both MiniHoarder and Wargaming3D. This was a difficult decision, and isn't a sudden collapse. We're a two-person operation, and even with the efforts we've put in to streamline the site, the work of running it and keeping it compliant has outgrown what we and it's income can sustainably carry. The decision is final, but I want the wind-down to be as fair to you as we can make it.

Thank you to all the creators and their fans for supporting us over the years. These stores were only ever worth running because of the people who cared about them, and that means all of you.

What's happening, and when:

• 2026-05-31: the storefronts will stop taking new orders; checkout is disabled.
• 2026-06-30: new creator uploads and distributions are disabled; there will be no more models entering the system.
• 2026-07-30: minihoarder.com and wargaming3d.com storefronts are completely disabled; the posts and creator indexes will remain.

For Customers

You will be able to log in and download as usual from your library until 2026-07-30. After that date the sites go offline and downloads will no longer be available. Save your files somewhere safe locally.

Your right to use the files you've bought is not affected — closing the store doesn't revoke your licence. You just need your own copy.

If you've bought something very recently and hit a download problem, please email us before 2026-06-31 and we'll sort it out.

We will retain all the data (not the model files) until the company has been dissolved properly (aiming before 2027 - these things are not immediate). Once that has occurred your account and personal data will be deleted in line with our privacy policy.

Many of the creators you've bought from are moving to or already on other platforms. I will keep the brand information on the sites updated on the sites, to make it easier to find and follow your favourites!

For Creators

Final payout: Every outstanding balance will be paid by 2026-07-30, even if unrequested. Please check your payout details are current and reply / update if anything's wrong. If you would rather donate your balance to charity than have it paid out, please let us know. For any charity holdings we have, we will contact the charity originator and coordinate with them.

Your sales records: We can provide a CSV of your full sales history (orders, dates, amounts, commission, net paid) on request. Those who have already requested this recently for tax reasons will be processed first.

Distribution records: We can provide a CSV of your distribution history (customer, distribution name, product list) if you want to take this data to other platforms, also on request.

Your files: If you would like an archive of your uploads (images and asset files), please let us know. Please don't leave this to the last week.

Your customers: Customer download access ends on 2026-07-30. Customers keep any files they've already downloaded, and their licence to use what they bought is unaffected. Your work won't be sitting on a dead server indefinitely.

Your data: We will retain the database data until the company has been dissolved properly (aiming before 2027 - these things are not immediate). We will do what we can to support you if you need specific data formats for import to other platforms (see below).

Moving on: If you want to keep selling, you probably already have presence on other platforms. If you don't already have links on your profile for these, let me know what your preferred storefront is. I'll get a list up on the domains so people can still find you.
