Bolt Action’s version 3 has shaken up the game’s Meta, no matter if you are a competitive or just recreational player.
While many of the national “Army Rules” have been nerfed, the Armies of the U.S.A. still provides their players an opportunity to call in a second strike with their Forward Air Observer. Careful placement of the strike tokens can minimize the risk from an errant “Rookie Pilot”, and one or two successful air strikes can change a game.
The best defense, or course, is having some flak in your own army. No army is better equipped to thwart an air attack than that of Uncle Sam. Besides festooning every available motor vehicle with machine guns, there were several “Multiple Gun Motor Carriages” with various A/A mounts in the American motor pool.
This .stl pack provides you with two options, depending on how many points you wish to spend; that being the M13 and the M16 MGMC.
The M13 MGMC was the first A/A platform based on the M3 Half track to enter service. Over a thousand were produced before production switched over to the M16 MGMC. The M13 had a powered turret mounting twin .50 HMGs. The later M16 MGMC mounted the M45 turret, with quad .50 HMGs.
Both versions saw extensive service, both in the A/A role and as direct fire support vehicles, earning the unsubtle nickname of “Meat Choppers”.
This .stl pack provides the .stls for the half track and both the M13 and M16 turrets. The pack has separate files for resin and FDM printing - the FDM file has separate from roller, reinforces fenders, simplified guns and turret, and lacks the gunner and driver figure included in the resin .stl pack. The resin .stls include the basic files plus hollowed and pre-supported .stls.
Please note the pre-supported resin files may not be suitable for your printer/resin of choice.
Supports are required for FDM printing.
