Semovente 75/18

The Semovente 75/18 was an Italian tank destroyer featuring a short barreled 75mm L/18 cannon. The vehicle was intended to be an assault gun, inspired by the German StuG III. The vehicle performed well in its role, being used as an artillery and infantry support vehicle. The vehicle notably had thick armor compared to other Italian vehicles, as well as a lower silhouette which helped improve its survivability.

In Armored Advance:
The Semovente 75/18 is able to fulfil the role of an infantry support vehicle, similarly to the panzer IV F1. However, where it makes a name for itself is the fact that it is additionally able to fire HEAT projectiles, which sacrifice some damage to have high penetration which does not fall off with range, making the vehicle into a potent anti-tank platform. Combine this with its relatively low cost, and you have a decent chunk of firepower for its requisition. The vehicle does come with the downsides that its armor, while acceptable, is by no means invulnerable. This coupled with the relatively low health pool, means the vehicle can be knocked out quickly if targeted.
