Panzer III AusF J/J1
- Description
- Files
The Panzer III was an iconic German battle tank used throughout World War 2. The vehicle underwent several upgrades throughout its time in the German army. The early versions featured thin armor and a poor 37mm cannon. The J variant still had improved armor, reaching 50mm on the front. The basic J variant was equipped with the 50mm KwK 38 L/42 cannon, however the J1 version carried the long barreled 50mm KwK 39 L/60.
In Armored Advance:
The Panzer III J offers a slightly better armored, and more expensive alternative to the Panzer III G, having an adequate, quick firing gun on the basic J version and decent mobility for maneuvering. The J1 version with the long gun is capable of dealing with targets that the short-barreled gun could not, making the J1 a viable alternative when firepower is at a premium.
Dimensions:
Length - 2.91" (74mm)
Width - 1.58" (40mm)
Height - 1.34" (34mm)
Estimated Print time - 4 hours
This model comes pre-supported and ready to print in 1/72 scale. Unsupported files are also included, allowing you to adjust the scale to your preference. This model is designed with resin printing in mind and is not optimized, nor tested for traditional FDM (filament) printers. The model was test printed successfully several times on an ANYCUBIC Photon Mono 4K resin printer. If you have any issues with the file, don't hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected]
