The Lord Clive-class was a class of eight monitors for the Royal Navy. Sometimes also called the General Wolfe class. All ships served in World War 1 and survived the War.
HMS Lord Clive, HMS General Craufurd, HMS Earl of Peterborough, HMS Sir Thomas Picton, HMS Prince Eugene, HMS Prince Rupert, HMS Sir John Moore, HMS General Wolfe.
Armament as build, two BL 12-inch Mk VIII in one single turret, two 12-pdr guns, one 3-pdr gun, one 2-pdr gun. In 1916 two QF 6-inch guns were added next to the funnel.
1/1800 - resize to 55,56%
1/1200 - resize to 83,5%
Two Ocean-bases with the class-name are provided, in 1915 and 1916 setup (not supported). Also named separate flat-bases are included, these include all the ships from the class. Each flat base comes in two version text raised and lowered. These bases will print fine on a FDM-print. You can still print these on a Resin printer, that will give you more detail in the text, but no supported files are provided for the flat-bases.
Supported files(1/1800) are included for the ships and the turrets, use at your own risk, might be best you create your own supported files, which prints best on you own printer. Some parts are rather delicate, mainly the gun barrels, and you will need to remove support carefully. Best to use a somewhat more flexible resin to prevent breaking of the smaller parts when used on the war-gaming-table.
