German Pak 97/38 ATG * Updated Dec. 2020*
- Description
- Files
** This file was updated on 30 Dec 2020 - with a new "for resin printing" .stl, and new files for the FDM print - with a new barrel, spoked wheels, and detailed gun trails.
The Pak 38/96 gun was a hybrid, consisting of the carriage of the Pak 38 and the gun being a modified French 75mm model 1897, of which the Germans captured in the thousands of in 1940. The gun fired a 75mm HEAT round which made it a competent tank killer on the East Front, but at the cost of a lot of stres on the carriage of the Pak 38, hence the large muzzle brake.
FDM Print : this consists of 6 parts. Please use supports on this print. Remove the support material carefully and test print before gluing. The assembly will be self evident, but please be sure to have the cleaning poles on the sides of the trails go on the outside.
Resin Print : I included a supported copy of the .stl. This support worked well for me, but please be comfortable with your own printer and resin.
