A detailed reproduction of a Vickers Light tank Mark VI, used by british armored brigades at the outbreak of the World war 2. The model is in 1/100th scale (15 mm)
The Vickers Mark VI was the light tank used by the British army at the beginning of the Second World War, mainly in France and North Africa. Born as a reconnaissance vehicle that was to equip the cavalry regiments, it proved to be a vehicle of limited war value, due to its weak armament and thin armor. On the other hand, the vehicle had excellent speed even off-road. From 1935 to June 1940, more than 1000 Mark VIs were produced in variants A, B, C. All the vehicles supplied to the expeditionary force in France (B.E.F.) were lost in combat or abandoned during Operation Dynamo. In North Africa, on the other hand, they were used until the autumn of '41, when they were gradually replaced with the much more powerful American-made Stuarts.
The model is designed in 1/100th scale (15 mm), the measures are: 4 cm lenght, 2.1 cm width, 2.3 cm height. The model has 5 parts: upper and lower hull, left and right tracks, turret (that can rotate). In the preview image you can see an example of the model printed with a Elegoo Mars 3.
