Fiat-Ansaldo M11/39 - 1/100th scale

A detailed reproduction of the italian tank M11/39 in 1/100th scale, used at the outbreak of the WW2 by the Regio Esercito (the royal italian army) mostly against the british forces in Lybia.

The Fiat-Ansaldo M11/39 was the first medium tank produced in Italy after the World War I and also the only available when Mussolini declared war in June 1940. Produced starting from 1938 until the end of '39, when the assembly were closed to make way for the production of the M13, it turned out to be a vehicle not up to the situation, because of its light armor and insufficient armament. The M11, in fact, had a 37 mm anti-tank gun in the casemate and two Breda 8 mm machine guns in the turret. A total of about 100 M11s were built, mostly used (and lost) during clashes with British forces in Libya between September 1940 and February 1941. In the file .zip you can find a 1/100th (15 mm) scale reproduction of the M11/39, suitable to be printed in resin (I do not recommend the use of PLA) and divided into 5 parts: the upper and lower hull, the two wheels&tracks parts and the tiny turret armed with machinegun.
