The Farragut class destroyers were a class of 8 ships. Built in 1932 ~ 1935.
The Farraguts were the first port-WW1 USN DD designs and an considerable improvement compared to the "four-stackers"
As built;
5 x 5 inch (127 mm)/38 caliber guns, 4 x .50 caliber machine guns, 8 21-inch (533 mm) torpedo tubes (4 x 4)
After the upgrades in 1942 ~ 1943;
4 x 5 inch (127 mm)/38 caliber guns, 4 x 40 mm Bofor guns (2 x 2), 8 x 21-inch (533 mm) torpedo tubes (2 x 4), 4 x K-gun depth charge throwers and 2 depth charge racks.
Both versions are provided as 3D printable models.
No ship was lost in battle during WW2, but 2 ships were lost due Typhoon Cobra in Dec 1944 and 1 was grounded near Alaska in Jan 1943.

Non Commercial and personal use only.
The models are provided in 1/1000 scale and is Resin print only.
1/1800 - resize to 55,56%
1/1200 - resize to 83,5%
There are a number of bases provided, text recessed and the text raised. I used the recessed version for FDM printed bases. Finally a base without text is also included. Do not forget to also re-scale the bases if you print in 1/1200 or 1/1800 scale.
Also included 1/1800 scale pre-supported models which I used for the test-prints on my Anycubic Mono SE (0.05mm layer) using standard resin. Use at your own risk, might be best you create your own supported files, which prints best on you own printer. Some parts are rather delicate, mainly the gun barrels, and you will need to remove support carefully.
The base was printed on an Ender 5 pro (0.16 mm layer) standard PLA. But could also be printed in Resin if you want, which will provide a better print compared to my PLA printed bases. (no supported file provided)
