Waterline-model of Landing Craft, Gun Large (Mark 3).
A British conversion from the LCT-Mk3 hulls. The ships have been made water-tight, had a false deck built over the hold. Also the forecastle received a deck. It was intended to provide direct fire support against beach positions and surface attack for first-echelon landing waves. The ship would be beached to become a stationary gun platform.
Armament: Two 4" QF Naval guns, two 2-pdr pompoms (Included) or two 20-mm guns (20mm guns NOT included)

Non Commercial and personal use only
Model of LCG(L) - Mark 3
The model has been prepared and detailed for 1:100 wargaming. Meaning the railing is a bit stronger to prevent breaking to easy. It is waterline model and not a complete hull design. The Hull would be below water and would not work on a gaming table. The model is based on original drawings.
The whole model can be printed with a FDM printer. But off-course you can print parts of the model in resin if needed. I did add 20mm Ammo storage boxes with extra details, but these require a Resin printer to print. (Supported files are NOT provided)
The 3D-prints of Railing needs to be bent a bit after printing to fit correctly. Main reason is that it is more easy to print it flat on the printer-bed. If needed you can cut the stl in smaller pieces and glue it together on the craft.
The hull is provided in 4 pieces and the false deck is a drop in part. It is provided as both cut in two pieces and 1 whole piece.
There are a few options, around the deck-house you can use some different types of storage, vents, winches, etc.
There are ~ 90 separate parts you will need to print. Depending a bit on the items you want to add to the deck. This means you will need to glue to model together and requires some intermediate modelling skills.
Model dimensions when printed in 1:100 scale
- 61 cm long
- 9,5 cm wide
- 10 cm high (with main-mast)
The Vickers 2-pdr is included, this will print fine with a FDM printer.
If you want you can also buy the more detailed Resin version ; https://www.wargaming3d.com/dashboard/edit-product/120478/
