Panzer IV AusF G
The Panzer IV was a medium tank developed by the Germans during World War 2. Early models were armed with a short barreled 75mm KwK 37 L/24 cannon designed for infantry support. The vehicle initially weighed 16 tons, but by the end of the war this was increased significantly to 25 tons due to increases in armoring and firepower. Later versions of the Panzer IV were upgraded to have thicker frontal armor, as well as the long barreled 75mm KwK 40 L/43 and L/48 guns, which were far more powerful and shifted the vehicle's role from that of a support tank, to a battle tank.
The Panzer IV remains an iconic German tank from World War 2, and while not as well known as the Tiger or Panther tanks, remains a very key part of the German panzer divisions. The vehicle was the most numerous turreted tank of the German forces and played a significant role in the European Theatre. From the Eastern Front to North Africa, the Panzer IV was a force to be reckoned with.
This 1/72 scale model of the Panzer IV intends to replicate the unique characteristics of the G variant, and includes several features to help it stand out as this version. Notably, this includes the 75mm L/43 gun, with the double baffled muzzle brake, as well as the add-on armor, increasing the thickness from the 50mm found on the F variants, to 80mm. Many other unique details have been included throughout the model to best represent the G variant in a historically accurate way.

This model comes pre-supported and ready to print in 1/72 scale. Unsupported files are also included, allowing you to adjust the scale to your preference. This model is designed with resin printing in mind and is not optimized, nor tested for traditional FDM (filament) printers.
