St.Louis class light Cruiser

The St.Louis class cruisers were a class of 2 ships of the United States Navy. The St.Louis carried a total of 5 triple 6-inch guns turrets, a total of 15 guns . More than any other standard USN cruiser.
The St.Louis (CL-49) and Helena (CL-50) are considered a sub-class of the Brooklyn’s, with improved AA, had a modified machinery layout, a different aft deck-house and the first US Cruisers to be armed with twin 5-inch (127mm)/38-cal guns.
The Helena (CL-50) was torpedoed and sunk July 1943 during the Battle of Kula gulf. St.Louis survived WW2 and served for a couple of years in the Brazilian navy. (1951 ~ 1976)

The models are provided in 1/1000 scale and are Resin print only. I have included a full version, meaning single 3D-print file with all components added. And I also included a 1/1800 version I used for test-printing.
1/1800 – resize to 55,56%
1/1200 – resize to 83,5%
There are a number of bases provided, text recessed and the text raised. I used the recessed version for FDM printed bases. Finally a base without text is also included. Do not forget to also re-scale the bases if you print in 1/1200 or 1/1800 scale. Named bases provided for St.Louis and Helena.
Also included 1/1800 scale pre-supported models which I used for the test-prints on my Anycubic Mono SE (0.05mm layer) using standard resin. Use at your own risk, might be best you create your own supported files, which prints best on you own printer. Some parts are rather delicate, mainly the gun barrels, and you will need to remove support carefully. The 1/1800 model is in multiple parts, separate hull, turrets and aft rangefinder.
The base was printed on an Ender 5 pro (0.16 mm layer) standard PLA. But could also be printed in Resin if you want, which will provide a better print compared to my PLA printed bases. (no supported file provided)

Starting 2023 WW2 ships in 1/1000 up to 1/1800 will be added. This will be focussed on the Pacific War / Dutch East Indies. Resin print only, highly detailed and as historical correct as possible. I might tweak a bit to make sure parts will print and are strong enough for the gaming table. This will include a full range of ships of the Royal Netherlands Navy.
And slowly adding other models which are not found anywhere else.
