Humber-class Monitor (refit)

The Humber-class were three gunboats original to be constructed for the Brazilian Navy for service on the Amazon river. However all three ships were taken over by the Royal Navy before the start of World War 1, and commissioned as small monitors.

All three ships saw extensive service in the war, survived and were sold in 1919.

Armament after the upgrades,
HMS Humber - two 6-inch (152mm) guns in one twin turret forward, one 6-inch (152mm) gun added to aft-dek, four 3-pdr (47mm) guns and up to six machine guns.
HMS Mersey & HMS Severn - one 6-inch (152mm) gun forward, one-6-inch (152mm) gun aft-deck, four 3-pdr (47mm) guns and up to six machine guns.

1/1800 - resize to 55,56%

1/1200 - resize to 83,5%

Named ocean-bases are provided for all three ships (none supported only). Also named separate flat-bases are included, these include all the ships from the class. Each flat base comes in two version text raised and lowered. These bases will print fine on a FDM-print. You can still print these on a Resin printer, that will give you more detail in the text, but no supported files are provided for the flat-bases.

Supported files(1/1800) are included for the ships and twin turret, use at your own risk, might be best you create your own supported files, which prints best on you own printer. Some parts are rather delicate, mainly the gun barrels, and you will need to remove support carefully. Best to use a somewhat more flexible resin to prevent breaking of the smaller parts when used on the war-gaming-table.
