Tracked engineering vehicle of the Imperial Japanese army 1931-1945. The machine's capabilities should include digging trenches, clearing mines, cutting barbed wire, degassing, using chemical weapons, using it as a crane, a flamethrower, and as a bridge stacker. the Soukou Sagyou armored engineering vehicles were armed with two flamethrowers and a 7.7 mm Type 97 machine gun. It was equipped with a folding plow trawl for extracting explosive devices.
