SMK tank
Soviet heavy tank SMK (Sergey Mironovich Kirov) 1939
Soviet heavy tank of the late 1930s. One of the last Soviet tanks with a multi-turret layout (the armament was located in two towers). It served as the basis for the development of the KV heavy tank. Together with the experimental heavy tank T-100 and the prototype KV tank, which was close to it in terms of characteristics, it passed front-line tests during the Finnish War — it was used in battles on the Mannerheim Line, where it was blown up by a mine and was subsequently evacuated
