Yokosuka B4Y Jean

Yokosuka B4Y (Navy Type 96 Carrier Attack Bomber), was a carrier-borne torpedo bomber, one of the types of aircraft available and used by the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) in WW2. It was used in both Bomber and Torpedo bomber roles.

A total of 205 have been build.

Armament consisted of one .30 inch Type 92 machine gun rearward-firing. It could carry one 800 kg torpedo, or 500 kg of bombs.

The aircraft model has been prepared and detailed in 1/1000 scale. 1/1000 scale in-flight model is included. You can scale the model to 1/1800 and add them to your 1/1800 scale Carriers. (Scale down to 56%)

Print ready in 1/1200, meaning including bases and supported files are provided in 1/1200 scale. Which I used for test-printing. They worked fine for me, but no guarantee the files work on your own printer, so might be best you create your own supported files.

3 types of bases are provided, hexagonal, square or round and there is an option for a low (2 cm) or high (3 cm) base. A three aircraft wing is provided, and round bases for Bomber (B) or Torpedo-Bomber (T) are included.

I have included the 3 bases (round, hexagonal, square) without text. You can add your text or letters if you want.

Test-printed using a Anycubic Mono SE using Anycubic basic resin, 0.04mm layer.
