Waterline-model of Landing Craft Tank (Mk6). They could carry four medium tanks or three 50-ton tanks or 150 ton of cargo.
Armament 2 x single 20 mm guns.
American design and superseded by the Landings Ship Medium (LCT-Mk7)

Non Commercial and personal use only. May not be shared, uploaded or otherwise distributed.
The model has been prepared and detailed for 1:100 wargaming. Meaning the railing is a bit stronger to prevent breaking to easy. It is waterline model and not a complete hull design. The Hull would be below water and would not work on a gaming table. The model is based on original drawings. Prepared for FDM printing, some support is needed.
I did print some smaller parts using an Resin-printer, for which I also added the supported files. The smaller parts should also print on an FDM printer. The 20mm Oerlikon gun is Resin-print only !
As you see in the pictures, I still need to clean and basecoat the model. You will need to do some clean-up, sanding etc. and gluing the model together.
The model includes two different rear-hull parts; with and without the wheel-house and the 20mm oerlikon shields.
I printed the hull flat on the print-bed. That does give some layer-lines, which is ok for me. But if you do not like that you could print the 2 hull parts vertical. However, that will increase he print time considerable as you will need extra support but it will look better.
Test printed using PLA on a Creality Ender 5 (upgraded to pro), 020mm layer, photo's of the test-prints included. Resin prints are from an Anycubic Mono SE 005mm layer, standard Resin.
Model dimensions when printed in 1:100 scale
~38 cm long
~11 cm wide
~ 6 cm high (without mast)
52 seperate stl-files, total prints needed ~79 depending on the version you want to build.
