HMS Marshal Soult - Monitor 1915 (Ocean Base)

The RN Marshal Soult was a monitor built for the Royal navy during WW1.

During WW1 it became clear the RN needed monitors to shell enemy positions from the English Channel. She survived WW1 and WW2.

Marshal Soult, completed Nov 1915. Armament as build, two 15-inch guns in a single turret, two single 3-inch guns, two single 2 pdr guns.

1/1800 - resize to 55,56%

1/1200 - resize to 83,5%

This is a model provided on an Ocean-base with the name on the base. The model is the 1915, as build version. It includes two different version, the center cranes stored and setup.

Supported files(1/1800) for the turret and version-01 are included, use at your own risk, might be best you create your own supported files, which prints best on you own printer. Some parts are rather delicate, mainly the gun barrels, and you will need to remove support carefully. Best to use a somewhat more flexible resin to prevent breaking of the smaller parts when used on the war-gaming-table.
