Continuing my theme of the Pacific Theatre of Operations and my desire to provide my gaming friend’s with a very visual games board I realised I had not considered that the Imperial Japanese Army made extensive use of dug in and heavily defend tank and self-propelled guns..... "hang on a minute Mr Tank Commander Sir! it's time for the humble infantry soldier to get some cover and a place to brew his char, joe, tea fill in as appropriate".

The series of 4 emplacement offers an extremely well reinforced rifle nest capable of holding 4-5 figures in a crouched firing position.

The emplacement is approximately 95 mm by 80 mm and about 28-29 mm high.

The internal area is has detail.

My intention is for you to add your own kneeling crouching infantry figures on bases cut to fit the Rifle Nest's various shooting bays.

I have test printed the files and used a time saving 0.15mm layer height to print the models. I would recommend using 0.1mm layer height if you are printing them for yourself.

This model was designed by Neal Bowskill Copyright June 2022. These files may not be used to print for commercial gain.
