Renault TRM700-100 tractor unit

This is a 1:100 design of the Renault TRM 700-100 tractor truck which was specially designed as a tactical vehicle to transport the Leclerc main battle tank. It can also haul semi-trailers with other combat vehicles or construction equipment.  Versions for resin and fdm printing are provided.

The Renault TRM 700-100 tractor truck was first shown in 1987. It was specially designed as a tactical vehicle to transport the Leclerc main battle tank. It can also haul semi-trailers with other combat vehicles or construction equipment. It is based on the Renault TRM 10 000 heavy utility truck (separate model available). In 1993 Renault received a French Army order for 179 TRM 700-100 tank transporters.  The Renault TRM 700-100 is based on conventional design. Its chassis, frame and fifth wheel are specially reinforced to handle heavy loads at high travel speeds.

This is a detailed model design with an integrated version for resin printing.  A version with separate wheels is also provided for fdm printing.  A variant with a separate roof is also offered to ease painting as required.
