Pvrbv 551/ Lvrbv 701 (Swedish modern support vehicles )

These are 1:100 detailed models of the Pansarvärnsrobotbandvagn 551 (Pvrbv 551), a tank-hunter mounting an Improved TOW anti-tank guided missile system and the Luftvärnsrobotvagn 701 (Lvrbv 701), a SPAA vehicle using the RBS70 missile.  Both are based on the chassis of the old Ikv 102/103.  They are offered in variants suitable for fdm and resin printing, in open and closed configurations.

The pvrbv 551 is a rebuilt vehicle with a primary armament of a BGM-71 TOW launcher; the TOW is known as the rb55 in the Swedish army. Secondary armament was a Ksp 58 machine gun.  The vehicle was operated by a crew of four; the commander and driver are seated at the front of the vehicle. The gunner and loader are located in the middle of the hull under two large roof hatches. When the pvrbv 551 goes into firing position, the hatches are opened and the TOW launcher is raised above the vehicle roof.

The Lvrbv 701 is a Swedish self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicle equipped with a short-range Rbs 70 surface-to-air missile system designed and built by Bofors, up to 5km range depending on the weather conditions due to the missile being guided by the operator.  It is also a rebuild of the older Ikv 102/103.

The models are depicted in travel (hatches closed) and firing positions (hatches open).  Separate models of the TOW and RBS70 launchers are provided to fit into the open version.  The hulls are provided as complete assemblies for resin printing, or with separate tracks for fdm printers.  Hollow versions of the closed variants are provided for use as required.

The product is offered for personal, non-commercial use.  Derivative designs for personal use may be generated, but neither the original nor derivatives may be shared with others.  Attribution of the design is requested should printed models be exhibited or otherwise shared.  Models printed from this design or derivatives may not be sold commercially.
