Partizanski Tenk - Yugoslav Partisan Improvised 'Tank'

In early 1942, the Marko Oreskovic Division of the Yugoslav Partisans was preparing to assault the Italian-held village of Srb, outside of Lika. Srb was defended by a mixed group of Italian and Croatian forces and was home to prepared defenses; a frontal assault on foot would cost the Partisans dearly. Work began on the Partizanski Tenk for the purpose of the assault on Srb.

The Partizanski Tenk was, in short, a railway fuel car which was given three wheels, a brake lever (on the outside... operated by a cable which ran into the vehicle), and four firing ports. It was almost completely unarmored, about four inches of soft steel and a layer of sand being the only protection, and it was powered by... four men pushing from its rear. The three 'guns' on the outside of the vehicle were simple metal pipes and served no purpose, save for confusion. Its only weaponry would have been the rifles of the four men inside.

Thankfully for the Partizans, the Italians and Croatians abandoned Srb and the Partisans entered without resistance. The Partizanski Tenk never saw combat and was abandoned.

This file has only been tested in resin, though I know the hull to be printable in FDM. I'm unsure of the wheels and will test it as soon as possible.

This file is intended for resin, as the wheels have very thin spokes, as well as the mounting for the front wheel. The hull will print in filament---I have tested it---but the wheels I am not sure of and will test as soon as possible. Frankly, I don't know what you would use this for except for terrain or as a joke, but it intrigued me... so it's here. If you do decide to use it in Bolt Action (whether this be to your detriment or not), I have some recommendations:
Damage Value: Armored Carrier (7+)

Weapons: 1 Rifle

Options:

  • Add up to three extra rifles for +2pts each

Special Rules:

  • Slow... pitifully Slow

  • Unreliable

  • Vulnerable

  • Experimental

  • Armored All-Round

In other words, good luck!
