Supermarine Spitfire (Flight, 25mm base)
I am adding the rest of my models to this site (see www.magpiedesigner.com for details). If you are interested in a particular model please let me know and I'll move it up the queue.
Model
Comes in two scales, 1200 and 1800. As well as two scales the model has the option to include or exclude a name plate at the back of the base. The base is 25mm in diameter and has a sea texture.
Zip
The model has been run thru 3D builder and successfully printed.
There are 4 files in the zip
Printing
Designed to be printed with a Layer Thickness of .03 mm, no extra supports required. Print flat on the print bed. To help remove it I use the flat metal scraper that came with the printer and dribble ipa around the base.
These models have thin supports which are designed to be snipped (or pulled) off after printing.
