Ship Base
This model has the following base types
- Thin: A thin (3mm thick) base with the ship name on a plaque at the stern.
- Wide: A Wide (5-6mm thick) base with "BISMARCK" on the Port and "BISMARCK CLASS BATTLESHIP" on the starboard sides:
- ……(Solid).stl A solid model.
- ……(Hollow).stl A hollowed version (not for Waterline)
- ……(Supported).stl A version on supports ready to print.
Each of the above versions has these files:
Printing
Designed to be printed with a Layer Thickness of .03 mm, no supports required. I have added some very thin (0.3mm diameter) supports under things like the main gun barrels and aircraft wings. These are easy to remove with a scalpel or craft knife.
It can be rescaled to 1:2400 but care would be needed with the smaller parts.
