E / F / G Class Destroyer on a 'Wide' base
I am adding the rest of my models to this site (see www.magpiedesigner.com for details). If you are interested in a particular model please let me know and I'll move it up the queue.
This product can be used for the E, F and G Class Destroyers. Each type has three refit options. Specifically:
Each year has the following options (with "E/F/G CLASS DESTROYER" & the year on both sides of the model):
Wide Base
This listing is for the Wide Base version.
A thick textured 'Hovercraft style' base (around 5-6mm thick) with the ship name and date on each side.
See my other listings for alternative bases (Waterline, Deep and Thin)
Printing
Designed to be printed with a Layer Thickness of .03 mm, no supports required. I have added some very thin (0.3mm diameter) supports under things like the main gun barrels and aircraft wings. These are easy to remove with a scalpel or craft knife.
It can be rescaled to 1:2400 but care would be needed with the smaller parts.
The model has been run thru 3D builder and successfully printed.
