1:100 model of modified M113A3 as used by Danish and German armies
The Danish and German armies chose the M113 as a general purpose armoured personnel carrier, but modified it with their own smoke dischargers and stowage. Later deployment resulted in the addition of side armour to defeat RPG and IED attack. This model depicts both versions of this variant of the M113, exploiting earlier work on the M113A3 model that is available separately.

This product provides separate hulls, wheels/tracks and cupolas/hatches. The hulls are in two forms, the first as originally deployed, and the second with the additional side armour. The wheels/tracks are provided as separate items for ease of printing. These should be printed with the axles horizontal, ground contact tracks on the printing base, and supports from the base only, at 0.1mm resolution. This will take full advantage of the detail provided in these elements.
An armoured commander's cupola is provided, together with a separate rear hatch cover to permit this to be fixed in open or closed position. A more accurate model of the 0.5" MG is provided with this variant.
