IJN Momi class Patrol Boat
- Description
- Files
The Momi class Patrol Boats were a class of re-classified destroyers of the Momi class. As the ships were obsolete by the beginning of WW2. The Momi Patrol Boats were mostly used in secondary roles. 9 ships were converted in 1939 by removing the torpedo tubes, mine-sweeping gear and changes in guns and Anti Aircraft guns. In 1941 ~ 1942 these were modified again, to carry Daihatsu-class landing craft.
Three different version are provided.

Non Commercial and personal use only.
The models are provided in 1/1000 scale and are Resin print only.
1/1800 - resize to 55,56%
1/1200 - resize to 83,5%
There are 3 different bases provided, text recessed and the text raised for the Patrol Boat. I used the recessed version for FDM printed bases. Finally a base without text is also included. Do not forget to also re-scale the bases if you print in 1/1200 or 1/1800 scale.
Also included a 1/1800 scale supported models which I used for the test-prints on my Anycubic Mono SE (0.05mm layer) using standard resin. Use at your own risk, might be best you create your own supported files, which prints best on you own printer. Some parts are rather delicate, mainly the gun barrels, and you will need to remove support carefully.
The base was printed on an Ender 5 pro (0.16 mm layer) standard PLA. But could also be printed in Resin if you want (no supported file provided)
