Fairey Albacore

The Fairey Albacore (popular name - Applecore)was a British single-engine biplane torpedo-bomber, one of the types of aircraft available and used by the Royal navy, Royal Air Force and the Royal Canadian Air Force in WW2.

A total of 800 have been build.

Armament consisted of one 0.303 in forward-firing Browning M1919 machine gun in the starboard wing, and one or two 0.303 in Vickers K machine guns in the rear cockpit. It could carry one torpedo (760 kg) or one 910 kg bombs.

The aircraft model has been prepared and detailed in 1/1000 scale. A 1/1000 scale in-flight model is included.

Print ready in 1/1200, meaning including bases and supported files are provided in 1/1200 scale. Which I used for test-printing. They worked fine for me, but no guarantee the files work on your own printer, so might be best you create your own supported files.

3 types of bases are provided, hexagonal, square or round and there is an option for a low (2 cm) or high (3 cm) base. A two and three aircraft wing is provided and bases for the Bomber (B) and Torpedo-Bomber (T) options. Only the 3 aircraft wing is provided supported.

Also included version on wheels and wings folded. You can use these models in 1/1800 scale to be placed on your Aircraft Carriers if you want. (None supported files only)

I have included the 3 bases (round, hexagonal, square) without text. You can add your text or letters if you want.

Test-printed using a Anycubic Mono SE using Anycubic basic resin, 0.04mm layer.
