Deweycat Combination Urban Terrain Package - updated December 2023
These files are intended for FDM printing , at 0.25mm layers, with supports from the build plate. There are support stiles within windows and other openings that are to be removed post-print.
** for the interlocking sectional factory and it's new (as of April 2021 floor plates) please follow the following instructions:
This file can be printed at a fairly coarse setting, the prints shown were printed at .25mm layer, with SUPPORT from the BUILD PLATE ONLY. This is important as the support is required for overhanging arches, etc., but you don’t want the supports between each brick. I added sacrificial bits in the window opening that are easily removed post-print to allow the windows to print well with supports in the slicer settings.
The angled roof sections will need to be glued to the middle and rear roof sections. Their placement will be clear when printed. These are the only pieces that require gluing in this model.
The base plates are each particular to the specific section, please refer to the photo below as a guide in assembling the base plates
the floor plates are specific to the section of the factory;
Assemble the relevant parts and then glue the base to the specific wall section, ensuring each section remains free unless friction fit with the interlocking connectors)
