The BTR-40A turret has a seperate sight frame item. Fold this at the hinge, and glue in place. I'd suggest a drop of glue on the hinge too.
There is a one-piece turret for BTR-40A suitable for SLA printing, or large scale. Don't try to print this in FDM at 1-100, because you can't clean it up.

BTR-40A turret printed with gun barrels horizontal, right side up. If you minimise supports for this part, you'll have more luck cleaning it up.
As always with wheeled vehicles, remove raft then clear out wheels from the outside first. (Watch out for that tow-hook.)
