Discounts

Discounts can be used for for various things, including rewards and sales. They're not ideal for distributing models - we advise using [distribution campaigns] for that purpose.

Discount limitations:

• Minimum of 5% and maximum of 80% off the total price of product or products involved.
• You can only create a discount for products that you own.
• Discounts are automatically applied; there are no codes.
• Discounts do not "stack" - we pick the highest discount available at the time of checkout to apply.
• A discount can only be scheduled up to 1 year in advance, and may only run for up to 1 month.

Once a discount has been scheduled, it's not possible to edit it, but you can expire it which will disable it immediately.

Discount scoping

Discounts can be limited by person, product and usage, independently.

• By person: everyone (site-wide), or only specific email addresses.
• By product: all products, or only specific products.
• By usage: infinite usage (may be used while the discount is running), or limited usage (may only be used a finite number of times).

You can offer a discount to specific email addresses without a Playable Prints Passport account, and it will be automatically applied to that email address when the customer signs up with that address.
