Team Yankee 1-100 VDV BMD-1

With the introduction of the VDV into the Team Yankee theater I figured I would dig up my old VDV miniatures I made years back. The infantry were "OK" and are still free and so is this. I have plans to redo the infantry soon :)
The BMD-1 is a Soviet airborne amphibious tracked infantry fighting vehicle, which was introduced in 1969 and first seen by the West in 1970. BMD stands for Boyevaya Mashina Desanta. It can be dropped by parachute and although it resembles the BMP-1 it is in fact much smaller.
I am not a fan of fiddling with turrets while I game so I create these "unimodels" where the turret and chassis are merged together and print as one thing. Trust me, it saves on print time and game time.
