The Stug III Ausf G is perhaps the most recognisable of the Stug family, bearing a powerful 75mm gun it was produced in large numbers and provided a significant boost the the anti-tank capabilities of the German army. The StuH 42 was based off the same chassis but instead of the long 75mm gun featured a short barreled 105mm howitzer.
