Grumman TBF/TBM Avenger

The Grumman TBF Avenger was a United Stated Navy torpedo-bomber, one of the types of aircraft available and used by the United States Air-force in WW2.

A total of 9.839 have been build.

Armament consisted of one 0.30 in nose-mounted M1919 Browning machine gun (early models) or two 0.5 in wing-mounted M2 Browning Machine guns. One dorsal mounted 0.5 inch M2 Browning Machine gun and one 0.30 in ventral mounted M1919 Browning machine gun. It could carry one Mark 13 torpedo OR up to 907 kg bombs OR a Mark 24 acoustic homing torpedo. Also up to eight 3.5 inch rockets could be carried.

The aircraft model has been prepared and detailed in 1/1000 scale. A 1/1000 scale in-flight model is included.

Print ready in 1/1200, meaning including bases and supported files are provided in 1/1200 scale. Which I used for test-printing. They worked fine for me, but no guarantee the files work on your own printer, so might be best you create your own supported files.

3 types of bases are provided, hexagonal, square or round and there is an option for a low (2 cm) or high (3 cm) base. A one, two and three aircraft wing is provided and bases for Torpedo-Bomber (T) or AWS (A) included. Only the 2 aircraft and three aircraft wings are provided supported.
Bases for Grumman TBF and General Motors TBM option are also provided. The same model, but different manufacture and designation.

Also included an version on wheels and a version on wheels and wings folded. You can use these models in 1/1800 scale to be placed on your Aircraft Carriers if you want. (None supported files only)

I have included the 3 bases (round, hexagonal, square) without text. You can add your text or letters if you want.

Test-printed using a Anycubic Mono SE using Anycubic basic resin, 0.04mm layer.
