Fairey Barracuda

The Fairey Barracuda was a carrier-borne torpedo and dive bomber, one of the types of aircraft available and used mainly by the Royal navy, Royal Canadian Navy and a few more.

A total of 2.602 have been build.

Armament consisted of two 0.303 in Vickers K machine gun in the rear cockpit. It could carry one 730 kg aerial torpedo OR four 300 kg depth charges OR six 110 kg bombs.

The aircraft model has been prepared and detailed in 1/1000 scale. A 1/1000 scale in-flight model is included. Both the Mk-II and the Mk-V versions are in included.

Print ready in 1/1200, meaning including bases and supported files are provided in 1/1200 scale. Which I used for test-printing. They worked fine for me, but no guarantee the files work on your own printer, so might be best you create your own supported files.

3 types of bases are provided, hexagonal, square or round and there is an option for a low (2 cm) or high (3 cm) base. A three aircraft wing is provided and bases for Dive-Bomber(D), Torpedo-bomber (T) and AWS (A) options are included. Mk-II and Mk-V are separate options.

Also included version on wheels and wings folded. You can use these models in 1/1800 scale to be placed on your Aircraft Carriers if you want. (None supported files only)

I have included the 3 bases (round, hexagonal, square) without text. You can add your text or letters if you want.

Test-printed using a Anycubic Mono SE using Anycubic basic resin, 0.04mm layer.
